About Me
Three words that best describe what’s important to me: God, family, writing.
I have always loved God. Long before I discovered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I prayed to God, who I envisioned as a man in a white robe with bare hands and bare feet. When I concluded my prayers, I would open my eyes immediately hoping to find Jesus still standing in my room.
After my sister and I were orphaned, we began living with my maternal grandparents who were both members of The Church. Grandma liked to attend, but Grandpa was still angry about offenses that occurred when he was young. My sister and I began attending church with Grandma and not long after, I was baptized at age 10.
I loved attending church and over the years have studied to learn more about my Savior and His gospel. I have always believed in Heavenly Father and, His Son, Jesus Christ and received my own witness many years ago. I also received my own witness that Joseph Smith was the prophet, seer, and revelator chosen to restore the gospel in its fulness. That he did, in fact, see God, the Father, and the Son, Jesus Christ. That through him, all necessary covenants have been restored.
I have also received my own witness that Russell M. Nelson is the one who serves currently as the mouthpiece for God.
Though I have experienced trials and lived through some tumultuous times, I can testify that God hears and answers prayers and that He is a God of miracles. I have seen far too many miracles and had far too many experiences to ever deny His existence or His involvement in the details of my life. I don;t belie in coincidences. I believe that a loving Heavenly Father knows me and directs my life here in mortality.
I often think about being steadfast and immovable and in being anxiously engaged in a good cause. I want to share the light of God with anyone and everyone and for this purpose, I have created this website. I hope you will find peace and joy here.
